The down-conversion display ink uses quantum dot photoluminescence, showing narrow full width at half maximum (FWHM) of light emission and different light emitting wavelength depending on particle sizes. The color conversion material (CCM) absorbs OLED and Micro-LED’s blue light and converts wavelength to green and red to express RGB colors.
The UV-curable solvent free-type quantum dot ink does not need thermal process, and it minimizes the loss of luminous efficiency in Cd-free quantum dot vulnerable to heat. This next-generation display ink shows broad color reproduction range based on its narrow FWHM (Green ~35nm, Red ~37nm).
